Friends of the South End hosts the Portsmouth Fairy House Tour each September. Now in its 11th year, FOSE donates the proceeds from sponsorships and ticket sales to the nonprofit organizations and schools that play a central role in the planning and implementation of the Tour.
In 2014, more than 6,400 people attended the Tour.
Since its inception in 2004, the Tour has donated more than $200,000 to the community!
The 2015 Tour will take place Saturday and Sunday, September 26 & 27, 11:00-3:00 pm rain or shine.
The 2015 Tour will encompass the grounds of Strawbery Banke Museum, the Governor John Langdon House, Prescott Park, and Peirce Island. In addition to access to the Fairy House sites, the price of admission entitles visitors to access to the historic houses at Strawbery Banke Museum and the Governor Langdon House.
Special performances will occur on both days on the Prescott Park Arts Festival and in the wooded grove at the Governor John Landon House.
Tracy Kane, the Fairy Houses Series® author and illustrator will be on hand both days of the Tour to greet ticket holders and sign autographs.
Tickets will be available in early summer.
Be part of the magic this year!
